In this position you will be building, testing and documenting the assembly of  StrobelTEK’s Sprinter uncrewed aerial system (drone), docking station, as well as our testing systems. This also includes working together with other team members to produce quality products and prototypes.

Position Title: Engineer/ Technician (Prototype Development)

Location: St. John’s (Canadian Citizen or PR required)

Duration: Full-Time

Desired Skills:

• Experience in with electronics
• Experience in carpentry
• Experience with CNC / CAM
• Experience with additive manufacturing (3D printing)
• Experience with robots (UAVs, UGVs, ASVs, ..)
• Candidate must work well independently as well with other team members

• Ability to building mechanical systems based on instructions
• Ability to improvise when necessary
• Proficient in lean manufacturing techniques
• Experience in wiring

Mid Electrical/ Software Engineer

Become a part of the Future of UAS at StrobelTEK as a Mid Electrical/Software Engineer! StrobelTEK is looking for a highly motivated, independent worker that can join our team. In this role you will be designing, building, testing, and documenting the electronic systems of StrobelTEK’s Sprinter uncrewed aerial system (drone), docking station as well as our testing systems. This also includes the wiring of the systems and working together with other team members to produce quality products and prototypes.

Position Title: Mid Electrical/ Software Engineer

Location: St. John’s (Canadian Citizen or PR required)

Duration: Full-Time

Desired Skills:

• Experience with embedded C/C++
• Experience with robots (UAVs, UGVs, ASVs, ..)
• Experience with sensors on robots (especially RTk GNSS, Cameras, …)
• Candidate must work well independently as well with other team members

Required:

• Proficient in schematic and PCB design
• Creating and assembly of electronic components proficiently
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science

• Experience with PX4 flight control stack
