Senior / Middle Level Software Developer

As a Senior / Middle-Level Software Developer, you will design, implement, document, and test high-quality software supporting StrobelTEK’s Sprinter uncrewed aerial platforms and related autonomous systems. You will work closely with hardware, systems, and flight-test teams to deliver reliable, field-ready software that supports real-world operations, demonstrations, and customer deployments.

This role will suit a self-directed engineer who enjoys working across the full development lifecycle — from architecture and implementation through testing and deployment — in a fast-moving, applied environment which spans continual improvement R&D through to commercial sustainment of systems.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong proficiency in C / C++
  • Strong proficiency working in Linux-based environments
  • Experience developing software for robotics or autonomous systems
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a small team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally (including USA, Europe, Asia)

Other skills

  • Experience with ROS / ROS2
  • Experience with PX4 or similar flight-control stacks
  • Experience with uncrewed systems (UAVs, UGVs, ASVs, etc.)
  • Experience integrating and working with sensors, especially cameras
  • Experience with machine vision, perception, or pattern recognition
  • Familiarity with embedded systems or real-time constraints
  • Experience supporting live demonstrations, testing, or customer trials

Mechanical / Electrical Engineer

As a Mechanical / Electrical Engineer at StrobelTEK, you will support the design, development, integration, and testing of advanced uncrewed aerial systems and related autonomous platforms. You will be a hands-on engineer, comfortable working across mechanical structures, electronics, and system integration in a fast-moving applied R&D environment.

On active projects, you will design and prototype lightweight mechanical structures, integrate avionics and electrical systems, and support manufacturing and assembly activities. On testing and demonstrations, you will support system integration, troubleshooting, and field operations. You will work closely with software, autonomy, and systems engineers to deliver robust, flight-ready platforms.

Operations & Administration Coordinator

As StrobelTEK’s Operations & Administration Coordinator you will support the business in both customer and internally facing roles. You will be someone comfortable “wearing several hats” and handling multiple priorities at the same time. On our active projects, you will provide a supporting role in project management, on our active pursuits you may be client facing supporting potential opportunities and business development activities. In addition you will assist our small (but growing) team with other as-needed administrative tasks.  Joining our team as the office manager will also present many opportunities for internal advancement that could evolve based on your interests.

If you are an individual with a get-stuff-done attitude, able to handle multiple concurrent tasks and are someone who can organize those around you – this job is for you! 

Position Title: Operations & Administration Coordinator
